The shop

Paint for the way South African houses are actually built.

Lumen Paints is a shop in Industria, Johannesburg. The board covers interior acrylics, exterior coatings and enamels for steel gates as well as Oregon doors.

Colours are chosen for local light: a sage that still reads green on a south-facing wall, a sandstone that does not go pink at sunset, and a gloss that can live on a gate through a hail season.

This site is a catalogue, not a checkout. Write or phone the shop to order. Prices on the colour board include 15% VAT. Delivery is free over R1,500.00.
